49ers’ head coach injured in car accident, limited in training camp
Kyle Shanahan, the San Francisco 49ers head coach, was injured in a crash final week, the group stated Saturday.
There have been no particulars concerning the crash, however Shanahan was not significantly injured.
“He suffered non-life-threatening accidents. Coach Shanahan will take part in crew actions on a restricted foundation initially of coaching camp whereas he recovers,” the crew stated.
His crew duties will likely be carried out by assistant head coach Chris Foerster and crew coordinators, the 49ers stated.
